I have an allergy to sugar, and I struggled with it when I was younger. I had to be very careful to constantly hydrate and avoid consuming sugar. As I grew older, this condition diminished. Later, I discovered the fourth largest sugar factory in Turkey was in the city I live in. In Turkey, sugar is only extracted from sugar beets, so I decided to visit the factory to learn about and record the process of sugar production.
This pool was the part that caught my attention the most in the factory. Because the factory uses 3 thousand tons of water per hour, and used water is recycled in this pool that we see in the photo. The used water is brought to the pool from under this bridge. I was allowed to climb to the bridge to film the pool from above. I focused most of my filming on this pool.
